SKY REMAINS BLUE REVIEW: HULL CITY WANT STOP MOVING TRAIN..CHELSEA JAM THEM 2-0
On a weekend when Liverpool surprisingly lost to Swansea city at home,On a weekend when Manchester city and Tottenham Hotspur settled for a score draw,On a weekend when Man United also drew..it’s was left to be seen if Chelsea will also drop points playing at home against Hull city.As the game was a Sunday evening fixture, Chelsea saw a great opportunity to extend their lead at the top and they didn’t disappoint their fans as they picked maximum points against a Hull city side that even though they troubled the home team at some point, they didn’t really do much to stop Chelsea from extending their lead..
Prior to the game there were news all around that Diego Costa might be leaving for China after a feud with Coach Antonio Conte in training but as expected it turned out to be one of those rumours associated with transfer Windows as the spaniard got back to the starting line up after missing the last game at Leicester…
The game started with Chelsea dominating play as goal efforts from Costa,Eden Hazard missed target to put Chelsea in front..The head Collison between Gary Cahill and Mason stopped play for the hull city player to be attended to as he couldn’t continue the game..it’s was just before the half time break that Costa got his 15th goal of the term off a low cross from the right from Victor Moses..
As expected the added time before the break was up to 49 mins of play because of the injury to Mason..but on resumption of the second half Chelsea were desperate to seal up the victory with an added goal..but the visitors were not having it..
Thibaut Courtois was even called to action as he had to make five spectacular saves to keep Chelsea clean on the night..At last an 81st minute header from Gary Cahill gave the blues their 2nd goal from a fine free-kick off the boots of Fabregas who had come in to replace Eden Hazard..Pedro also came in for Willian as Coach Conte showed once again why Roman Abrahamovic has so much faith on him..
Thibaut Courtois was my MVP tonight with those great saves..Also Diego Costa proved he’s psychologically stable by scoring despite what the tabloids had been writing about him days before the game..Excellent!!!
No flogging for now but I dey warn Marco Alonso make him behave himself before him go give penalty..
We play Liverpool next..8point lead now..!! we are the team to beat for sure!! we remain the pride of London..we remain CHELSEA!!
