GUNPOWDER REVIEW: ARSENAL INVOLVED IN ANOTHER CLIFF HANGER AT THE EMIRATES, BEAT BURNLEY 2-1 IN 97TH MIN

Being an Arsenal fan needs to come with a health warning..not joking here.
No way on earth you will ever get me to accept that Sunday’s game can be watched by people with heart Conditions. That was probably one of the most difficult, tension soaked and nerve wracking closing 5mins that iv ever witnessed as an Arsenal Fan. It looked like we had blown the 3 points in the 93rd minute..No thanks to Coquelin’s Outstretched leg, But with probably the last attack from the Gunners..Alexis in the 97th minute of added time floated a Pass towards the back post a dangerous looking cross that was arrowing straight unto Koscielny’s head (and you know bar Giroud he is probably the next best header of the ball in our team) until his head was caught by a high boot from a burnley defender..the ref hesitated for a fraction of a second admist the protests from the Arsenal Players..then Blew his whistle for PENALTY! Up stepped Alexis with the entire hopes and title race dreams of Gunners all over the world resting on his small shoulders to chip the ball past a stranded Heaton who would never had guessed in a million years that Alexis would Panenka..

But it could have been all so different, Granit Xhaka (whom i now refer to as the Red card Magnet) was at it again..getting himself sent off for quite aridiculous piece of play. After being Careless in possession and giving away the ball (under no pressure i might add) he then proceeded to lunge into a tackle to save his blushes ..only to catch the Burnley player who naturally made a meal of it and went down. The referee after consultation with the linesman brandished the Red at the switzerland international who at the time looked like a kid who had just been told off by his parents.

Xhaka is a useful player in the way he distributes the ball and also his tackling ability in midfield. But my goodness he is starting to piss every one off with his calamity moments. I recall his nearly costly elbow in the penalty box on Joe allen when Stoke city came visiting ..leading to them scoring a penalty. Don’t get me started on the Swansea red card also at the Emirates. He needs to calm the hell down. Or Arsene Wenger will drop him like a bad habit once and for all. I cannot imagine us in an important game cruising only for him to go into one of his Red card magnet modes and ruin a good moment for us almost like he did on sunday..He needs to get a grip on that fast.

Mustafi scored his first goal for Arsenal and im quite happy for the German who is a bit of a lucky charm for Arsenal, we are yet to lose any game where he has featured. Well that will surely be broken some day ..but until then ..lets enjoy it

Sanchez came to our rescue what a guy! Long live his Dogs
