CHELSEA ENGINE IS SLOWLY REVVING UP DEFEAT EVERTON 2-0

BLUES GET CAMPAIGN ON TRACK

Chelsea returned to Stamford bridge after that disappointing start to the English premiership title defence when they lost 2-3 to Burnley and also lost Cesc Fabregas and captian Gary Cahill to red cards, while Cahill’s was a straight red Fabregas was two bookable offences so he missed the famous 2-1 win at Wembley against Spurs last week Sunday to serve his one-match ban while Cahill remains suspended. The blues were hoping to redeem their image after the opening game loss and they sure did it in fine style beating a robust Everton side that almost got a deserved win at the Etihad against Manchester city.

Ronald Koeman had options to pick from in that they have strengthened the squad with good acquisitions like Goalkeeper Pickford and also bringing Wayne Rooney back and just recently Sidgursson..so Antonio Conte knew what was at stake that any slip up will open the gap at the top of the log where United sits comfortably.Alvaro Moratta made his second appearance in the side for Chelsea and had a fairly good game as he set up Fabregas to open scoring on 27 minutes as the Spaniard cooly tapped in.Pedro just like the beginning of last season is enjoying a rich vein of form regardless of his injury setback..his bicycle kick almost caused a scare..
Chelsea were in control of the game and on 40 minute Azpilicueta’s cross found Moratta who headed home Chelsea’s second..he’s now scored in his last two league goals with his head.Halftime 2-0 Chelsea. On resumption of the second there was not  much pressure from the Everton strike force as Goalkeeper Cortois was holidaying away in goal with no real saves to make. Fabregas was amazing in the midfield as well as Ngolo Kante.
Game was done with at 2-0 and as far as Conte was concerned it’s was sweet restoration and the fans believed again. As all doubt was cleared
