Transfer Rumors: Ramsey wanted by Barca, Arturo Vidal to inter, Perez to Lazio
Its that time of the year where Rumors of trade in the football transfer window starts to hot up. The season is approaching and all clubs both Major and Minor are looking to strengthen their teams to remain competitive.
Reports have it that Barcelona have told Arsenal they want Aaron Ramsey plus cash to let Ousmane Dembélé join the Gunners. They say the Blaugrana want to improve their midfield depth and Dembélé knows about Arsenal’s interest, but we all know Barça have made it publicly clear multiple times they will not sell the young Frenchman. It looks then like a stalemate as Arsenal are not interested in losing Ramsey also. New manger Emery rates Ramsey highly but did say, with or without the Welsh man he was pleased with his squad. Arsenal are said to be looking for a wide man and Dembele suits that role. We shall monitor what unfolds here.
Gazzetta dello Sport says that Inter Milan’s deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal is close to complete, but the financial details are different than initially reported. Inter Milan is actually set to pay less for the Chilean star than initially thought. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Chilean international is to sign a three-year contract with the Italian first division and earn 4.5 million euros per season. The Brazilian has found himself the subject of plenty of speculation this summer, after an impressive World Cup with Brazil.
But the 29-year-old has insisted that he is happy at Stamford Bridge, despite all of the rumours.
Speaking to Globo Esporte in Brazil, he said: “I am very happy at Chelsea and I am very happy living in London.”
Last week new Chelsea manager Maurizzio Sarri insisted Willian was part of his plans for the coming season, along with Belgian duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois

The French champions are allegedly plotting a £100m move for the former Leicester man, with the Mail reporting that PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has “refused to comment” on a potential move for Kante.
The German said it was “not fair” to talk about players at other clubs, which could be construed as a patronising attempt not to boast about the fact he is about to sign Chelsea’s most important player.
But the Blues have acted swiftly to offer Kante a deal that would see him leapfrog Hazard, who currently makes £220,000 a week, as their top earner.
In a reverse Twist new Stamford Bridge manager Maurizio Sarri has made Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski his “no.1 summer target” – and the Pole is allegedly seeking a salary of £500,000 a week.
Chelsea have been repeatedly linked with Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, who excelled under Sarri at Napoli, but Lewandowski has reportedly been the Italian’s “first choice” all along.
However, with just nine days until the end of the transfer window, and Real Madrid also keen on the 29-year-old striker, and Bayern saying he won’t be sold in any case, the Blues look to have their work cut out and another season of Alvaro Morata leading the line looms large. But if his Terrible performance vs Arsenal was anything to go by last night Morata days in London are numbered
