SKYREMAINSBLUE REVIEW: E TAKE STYLE TOUGH BUT CHELSEA STILL WIN WESTBROM
It was going to be a tough test for CHELSEA..no doubt. And one of the reasons being that the Westbrom manager Tony Pulis is one of the finest coaches in the premiership looking at his antecedence, as well as his defensive formation and tactics during his time as Stoke city manager..so Chelsea faithfuls were not too suprised that the solitary goal came 14 minutes from time..
At this point in the season, I doubt if any one would Question Chelsea’s title credentials in that they had to dig really deep to get the desired breakthrough regardless of the fact that they really didn’t play their game today..no thanks to the stubbornness of the West brom players..Chris Brunt as always produced a good performance for West Brom producing a fine save from Thibaut Courtouis in the 19th minute. The opposition keeper Ben Foster also did well to keep David Luis’s free-kick and Willian’s GOAL BOUND effort out of his net after the latter was introduced in the second half with Cesc Fabregas to change the game..
it was Diego Costa that prooved his worth again for Antonio Conte’s men with a left foot drive into the left top corner in the 76th minute for his 11th goal of the campaign making him the league’s top scorer..
Once again resilience, hardwork, purpose, team spirit and a little bit of luck paid off for the blues to give them their 9th straight win as they sit atop the premiership table with 37points..9th straight win?!!
I been wan keep my koboko today o,cos me sef know say the match hard but Marcos Alonso go chop one lash becos him suppose score again today..
Conte is the Man..Chelsea is the club and Blue is the colour…
Tuale to all my Chelsea fans
The sky is still blue….
