SKY REMAINS BLUE REVIEW: BOURNEMOUTH OPEN MOUTH CHOP AM 4 THEIR HOUSE BASED ON LOGISTICS
It was another great and resilient performance from Chelsea as they secured vital point away from home after their midweek 2-1 Victory against Manchester city..The question now is: are Chelsea playing or winning under pressure because Tottenham just won’t drop any point considering how they fought back to win against Swansea city as well as their convincing win against Watford?
If the answer is yes, then I’ll call that a good and positive pressure..Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth were all set for this encounter as they needed points to further push them far from the drop some and they came out very hungry for this game..but Chelsea were a lot more stable and confident because Victor Moses returned to the starting line up after missing out on two important games due to a calf injury. So it was the usual 3-4-3 killer formation by Antonio Conte back in full force this game.Pedro also started alongside Nemaja Matic who started instead of Cesc Fabregas..The Home side had two Arsenal men Benic Afobe and Jack Wilshere combining well in midfield, but for us as always Ngolo Kante was doing his job breaking their flow with interceptions..
Adam Smith was very unfortunate to deflect Diego Costa’s shot towards his own goal to give Chelsea the lead just 17minutes in..as Conte’s men found their rhythm in midfield and 3minutes later Ngolo Kante found Eden Hazard with a perfect cross field pass and with great control the Belgian simply rounded up the Bournemouth goalkeeper to slot into an empty net for his 14th goal of the season and Chelsea’s second. At this point Eddie Howe didn’t want to go down without a fight charging his lads to step it up from the touchline and just three minutes before the break in- form striker for Bournemouth Joshua King pulled one back and it was game on..
Second half started with so must zest and zeal for the home side as they tried to find that priceless equaliser with King and Afobe looking sharp but the Chelsea backline was equal to whatever they brought.Boruc was very much alert to deny Costa, Pedro and Moses at different times of the game but he just could not move an inch when the 3rd goal arrived..Hazard found Costa on a quick counter attack but the former Atletico Madrid man was brought down at the edge of the right side of the box.Marcos Alonso (my former koboko customer) took the resultant free-kick and what a beauty it was..3-1 Chelsea..Regardless of changes Eddie Howe made it wasn’t going to stop Conte’s men as they were craving for more possession as if it was still a goalless game.Fabregas and Willian were brought in by Conte for Pedro and Hazard who played very well on the night and so 3-1 it ended and chelsea are still 7points clear from second placed Spurs..
Infact I go still bulala Costa with my koboko 3 lashes because him too dey legbere himself for field nowadays. score e nor fit again..him no kpef me at all today..but my Kante is 10/10 with hazard 10/10 too..upon way Moses just return from wunjure still kpef like this 9/10 and coachilablato carry go jor! nothing do you
we still be first..Chelsea na the team! Blue na the colour..
