SKY REMAINS BLUE MATCH REVIEW BY @OMODIA4REAL
It was the biggest fixture in European football and the most anticipated by millions of football fans all over the globe. It was “THE RETURN” of the “Special one”(so called) Jose Mourinho, the Manager that brought Chelsea to the football arena as a team to be reckoned with amongst the elite clubs, the manager who is credited to have revolutionized Chelsea after Russian billionaire Roman Abrahamovic bought over the club in 2003,The man who its said Chelsea’s history is not complete without.
The Portuguese whose times at the club have both beautiful and sour memories. On his return to Chelsea in 2014, Mourinho won the EPL title after one season prooving once again that he’s a master tactician and one of finest in the game but his last season in Chelsea was marred by a run of poor results that resulted in his sack with Chelsea finishing the season on a low so his return as a manager to Stamford bridge was hugely anticipated..
Antonio Conte’s men over the last two fixtures have found their mojo winning the two games scoring five goals and conceeding none, while Man United last game was a 4-1 thrashing of Fenabache in the Europa league..It was a Sunday afternoon fixture and before anyone could settle in to the contest Pedro slotted in a 29 seconds goal with Chelsea making just 11 touches on the ball..the visitors fought back as expected but Courtiuos made saves that kept the host ahead before the captain on the night Gary Cahil made it 2-0..after the break Mourinho introduced Juan Mata as he needed more attack minded players but Chelsea’s counter attacking football spearheaded by Hazard was just to strong for United as the Belgian with a low drive made it 3-0 to Chelsea.
At this point it was over for Mourinho and his men..the suprise of the day was the 4th goal for Chelsea and who would have thought that Ngolo kante will score such a well taken goal..but it happened to the delight of his team mates and the fans.Conte later took off Hazard and Costa for Chalobah and Bashuayi and I think the Italian deserves some credit for his tactics..He got it right
if Chelsea continue like this then I go kukuma keep my koboko cos I nor see any person wey I go flogg today..
Chelsea are now 4th on the log with just a point adrift league leaders and are the biggest winners as Spurs,City and Arsenal all drew their games..
No doubt,no controversy, the sky is and will always remain Blueeeeeee!!!
