Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea when his bending effort from 25 yards pinged off the post and into the back of the net

Chelsea produced a stunning come back yesterday in the very first fixture of Match day nine of the English premiership as they came from behind to defeat Marco Silvas Watford who have gathered 10 out of 12 points in the road this season. No doubt energy level was very high for both teams and Chelsea desperately needed to get back on track again after back to back loses to Man city and Crystal Palace respectively while Watford have shown great nerve and resilience away from home.
Antonio Conte started Antonio Rudiger at right back and Azpilicueta played Victor Moses role at wing back.Pedro also got the nod today and in just twelve minutes of play scored a beauty of a goal(the 8000th chelsea goal in theor 112 year history)when he got a pass from Eden Hazard from the right Flank.Minutes Later Cesc Fabregas should have made it two for Chelsea but his clever chip wasn’t going to fool Gomes.Watford had a good Chance to level up through Tom Cleverly’s free kick but Thibaut Courtois came to the rescue. The joy was however short-lived when Abdoulaye Doucoure scored the equaliser just before the break and game on it was at the bridge.
Watford looked really sharp when the second half started with great composure and matched the Blues pound for pound as their away record was starting to pump up their confidence level,it sure did exactly that when Roberto Pereyra put them in front in the 49th minutes after Tiemoue Bakayoko lost possession in the middle leaving Chelsea exposed and about to lose a third straight game in the premiership. It wasn’t going to happen as Conte made some tactical changes at the hour mark bringing in Michy Bashuayi for Alvaro Moratta who was rather to quiet during the first half and bang! the Belgian nodded home the equaliser 16 minutes later from a Pedro assist.
But it was Pereyra who dealt what looked like the killer blow when he calmly slotted past Thibaut Courtois after lax defending
Chelsea, now more firedup went for broke and this time it was Azpilicueta that got the much needed third goal off a cross to put the game beyond reach for the visitors.Bashuayi later put the icing on the cake in added on time when he lashed on to a loose ball in front of the box and cooly converted it for Chelsea’s fourth goal to the loud applause of the fans. A great come back it was and also a huge relief for Conte.4-2 Fulltime
