Gernot Rohr’s men now have three points and could move to second position if either of South Africa or Libya win in the other Group E Match.
President of Seychelles, Danny Faure and the Vice President, Vincent Meriton were both in attendance as Nigeria thrashed the Pirates of Seychelles.
The match referee was Devis Omweno from Kenya and was assisted by Compatriot Gilbert Cheruiyot and Ugandan Mark Isorlko.
It was a game where the Eagles weren’t troubled by any stretch of your imagination. They were clearly the superior team and should have gotten more goals if they wanted. The Eagles looked untroubled and were finding each other on the pitch with relative ease even without a host of first team members like Mikel Obi, William Troost Ekong and the now Retired Victor Moses. The highlight of the game was Ahmed Musa’s 25 Yard Screamer on a left foot Volley to score the 1ST Goal and continue his impressive form from the Fifa Worldcup..
Nigeria’s next game will be against Libya On October the 10t
