Is the Cup full for COZA pastor Fatoyinbo?
A Tsunami of Epic proportion swept through Social Media last Friday, the such that held everyone spellbound in shock and disbelief as Yet another Sex scandal hit the popular Abuja Based Church Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) and its Flamboyant Head Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. Unlike it has happened in the past where he had sympathy, Pastor Fatoyinbo being embroiled in this fresh scandal this time has left more people disgusted than empathtic with his case. Maybe it is because the whistle blower this time around isn’t just any random person but the wife of a celebrity! Busola Dakolo spouse to Musician Timi Dakolo.
Busola, a celebrity photographer, has come out to reveal in an interview that Fatoyinbo had allegedly raped her twice in four days when she was a 17-year-old who had just finished from secondary school.
Detailing her encounters with him after she joined COZA, she said he first raped her in the comfort of her home, and then again in the back of his car, rape incidents for which she claimed he admitted and issued an apology to her family.
And like Ese Walter claimed (Ese is a lady who first told the world that pastor Fatoyinbo and her had an inordinate Relationship that left her broken in 2012) , Busola also said Fatoyinbo’s deceptively-pristine reputation as a Man of God sits comfortably on the back of many teenagers mind that keeps him allegedly grooming and abusing them.
This, she said, is why her husband made an Instagram post last month, a consequence of his outrage when he found out about everything .
Busola’s shocking claim has brought Fatoyinbo’s sex misdemanors back under intense public scrutiny yet again. Of course as expected he has issued a press release debunking the revelation of Busola Dakolo and issuing threats of Legal action on her and Ynaija the Media house on whose platform the news broke. But many are not impressed.
A march against the Church is being organized by powerful Social media personalities and civil Society to force public justice on the Church to bring Fatoyinbo to retribution.
Rape, especially in Nigeria, is becoming a more serious issue as Women who have been victims have now succeded in getting their voices heard that it is not a subject that people should take as a sex encounter that just went wrong. But a serious Human violation that must not be condoned.
Now with the power of social media and the groundswell of outrage over this latest episode of shame. Can “Touch not my anointed still cover this Man of God”?
Is his cup now and truly full? Time will tell
