Last Sunday was bad, No doubt but as all things in life we have to move on. The game was a bad one from Arsenal perspective and these sort of performances have become more frequent in recent times so much that there seems to be need for an Inquest into the Arsenal Squad proper. Wenger has been known to build super quality teams in the past but those days look long over. so without further ado here’s a look at the Entire Squad of players currently at Arsenal & pick out those that need to be moved on.

PETR CECH: Now 35 years and starting to show his age with the mistakes becoming regular. This season there have been some memorable ones like the howler at Swansea. Great guy, strong Character but needs to be moved on

Decision: GO

DAVID OSPINA: Good enough for a back-up keeper but the Colombian according to a recent interview he had with a newspaper he said he is looking to be a First team player. Well, Not at Arsenal he won’t

Decision: GO

HECTOR BELLERIN: Wow i remember when this guy bust into the scene, i really had high hopes for him.But sadly Has not progressed like he should have. Feels like he has started to believe his own hype, though at 22, it is still too early to write him off.

SHKODRAN MUSTAFI:  This Guy is too Jekyll and Hyde to be a top Defender. Error prone. Very Good today Awful Tommorrow. Im sorry but At Arsenal we need top level performers week in week out.

Shkodran Mustafi defended woefully as Sergio Aguero opened the scoring in the Carabao Cup final

Mustafi is just too inconsistent and error prone.

LAURENT KOSCIELNY: The skipper is sadly not the force he once was due to Injuries and Age but remains Arsenal’s most reliable and experienced defender.

PER MERTESACKER: He had already announced that this season was his last anyway. I recall He started a particular league game vs Southampton and had to be subbed at half time due to the fact that he was obviously struggling. Just too slow now to play at this level.

CALUM CHAMBERS: Poor Calum Chambers Wenger probably gave him that Start on Sunday to help Build his Confidence but it backfired. His Marking Abilities are not good, gets turned far too easily as we all saw vs Ostersunds and does not inspire Confidence. Needs to be allowed to build his career at smaller club.

ROB HOLDING: Another Young defender that began his life at Arsenal Brilliantly, Played the FA CUP final last season and was immense. But something has gone quite wrong with him.He is now Struggling to convince that he does have what it takes to play for Arsenal but still worth persevering with because he is still Young. However no sentiments he must rediscover his confidence of last season.

Holding began life at Arsenal brilliantly but has since struggled

NACHO MONREAL:  This guy has been the best player for Arsenal this season. That tells you a lot about the season we are having that a Full-back is our most outstanding player… Dedicated, Disciplined, fighter and scores big goals. The Spaniard is one whom the rebuilding of this team should be centered around..

SEAD KOLASINAC: Kolasinac is a guy that i really don’t know whats going on with his Arsenal life. It appears he is struggling either with confidence or something else, maybe the position he is asked to play doesn’t fit him.I like the guy though and i believe he has some ability that should warrant him to stay. plus he Scores goals too.

Decision: STAY

Sead Kolasinac looked solid at the start of the season.. but doesn't now

After a glorious start Kolasinac appears to be struggling At Arsenal

GRANIT XHAKA: This is one guy who is frustrating the hell out of most Arsenal fans right  now, dude Cannot tackle and can only pass sideways — yet Wenger still picks him every week. A big money Buy from Monchengladbach ;last summer but has thoroughly flattered to deceive. A few long range goals are not enough sadly and do not compensate for the Midfield General we all hoped he will be.

AINSLEY MAITLAND-NILES: Impressed in his breakthrough season. Now the 20-year-old needs to keep progressing. STAY

AARON RAMSEY:  One of our most important players on his Day he is a match winner and an experienced head in the dressing room. He however needs to stay fitter more.

JACK WILSHERE:  Finally fit after all his injuries and the only Arsenal player who looks like he really cares..On his day he can be a real gem and he always seems to give 100% another of the experienced heads in the Team that a new team can be built around.

Jack Wilshere is one of Arsenal's few shining lights

Jack Wilshere is an important player to Arsenal.

Decision: STAY

MOHAMED ELNENY: Unlucky not to get a regular run, provides much-needed discipline in midfield.    STAY

MESUT OZIL:  Mesut Ozil just signed a new bumper Contract of 350k Pounds per weak so he is going no where. A gem on his day but can be annoyingly Anonymous also in Big games like Sunday.

Mesut Ozil is going nowhere after signing a £350,000-a-week contract

Mesut Ozil needs to be more imposing in the squad

ALEX IWOBI: National compatriot aside, Iwobi has been poor for Arsenal recently. Midfielder appears to have gone backwards this season and maybe needs to find a new challenge. The fans have been on his case for his laklustre displays and its starting to look like he can do no right in their sights . Most of the criticisms are a bit over the top but i have to admit most have been justified.  Perhaps could do with a Loan spell.

ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE: Poor Lacazette, has become a little bit of a forgotten entity at Arsenal. He came in amidst fanfare as the Club’s record signing. Difficult to see where the striker fits in at the Emirates now Aubameyang is on board. Can they both play together. i think Its worth a try before calling time on his Arsenal career

HENRIKH MKHITARYAN: Newest arrival and has shown flashes of brilliance but  must not be allowed to drift in and out of games like Ozil, Really wish he had played on Sunday.

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG: Far too early to judge him but the club’s record buy needs to start scoring quickly or Fans may start to hit at him

DANNY WELBECK:  This man is done. Has been a pale shadow of his usual hard working self. All along  we have come to accept that Welbeck may not give you goals but he will give you a good shift. But sadly even the shifts have gone missing from his game. Too many injuries mean the England striker has lost his confidence and lost his way.

So there you have it. Harsh as it may seem but Arsenal needs an overhaul of its players. It may not be possible to do that in one summer but we really need to start getting real quality players to wear the jersey of this proud Club
