GUN POWDER REVIEW: GUNNERS STILL IN THE WILDERNESS DESPERATE FOR A MOSES TO DELIVER THEM
Yet another weekend, Yet more dropped points. At this point Most gunners like me have become numb..nothing hurts anymore, nothing surprises also, resignation to fate just pervades the entire place. This was a big game with the potential of so many things prior to kick off..Win and the much needed boost to an already dead confidence level would be acheived. On the other hand, Lose it and well perhaps it would probably be best for every one to call it a night as far as the 2016/2017 season is concerned.
The existing toxic environment around the club is definitely destroying this Team on and off the pitch and how the board is simply sitting and doing nothing about it is just shocking..We are in a crises here. Make a pronouncement and stop acting like Arsenal football club is a high school team. This is a multi million pound Outfit and the fans are the blood vessel of the club. Even if not all of them are protesting and asking the Manager to step down, the rest of the Gunners fandom worldwide just want peace to reign once again. We have glaring issues, its either the players are so sick of the manager like the protesting fans or they are just a bunch of professionals who find themselves on their knees at the Moment.
So it was Mancity at the Emirates and a chance to grab desperately needed 3 points..Tough customers Mancity always are, they were never gonna come here and roll over. Last season they were beaten here but this season playing an Arsenal that looks a pale shadow of itself they must have felt confident going into the game. It began with Arsenal looking to find a break through early but ironically, but not for the he first goal came from Leroy opponents via Leroy Sane..who skinned BeLLERIN on his way to scoring..
Arsenal looked to respond immediately. And when Mancity showed their Own defensive issues Walcott stepped up and scored. A looped ball over the top was not properly cleared before it was headed back across goal and Theo did the rest..
But before Half time, Arsenal wore their Father Xmas outfit and gave Mancity another gift. Poor play from Ozil in our half gave the ball to Fernandinho who exchanged passes with another City player before squaring to Aguero who netted his and His club’s second of the night.
Mustafi drew us level in the 2nd Half and after that there wasn’t that much chances either for either side. Mancity came close with Aguero and Navas as the Gunners looked Tired, But there was to be no further goals. So 2-2 it ended eventually and this sort of result isn’t going to help either side finish in Top 4..Though it must be said City have a tough game midweek vs Chelsea and will need to be be more ruthless as Chelsea are still smarting from their Crystal Palace debacle..
For Arsenal its unto Westham United now, and that game must be one we win Unless we drop further to 7th and continue with this zombie final stretch of the season.
