EDRIS ELBA IS SET TO BECOME THE NEXT JAMESBOND
Ok i know this has been a rumour for quite some time now, but this time, it could really be set to happen!
IDRIS Elba could be a step closer to being the next James Bond after producer Barbara Broccoli said “it is time” for a black actor to take the role.
The new Bond 25 film is likely to be Daniel Craig’s last as 007 after he said he wanted to “go out on a high note.”
reports that the franchise’s producer Barbara told director Antoine Fuqua she feels “it will happen eventually” that a non-white actor will play the role.
Antonie said: “Idris could do it if he was in shape.
“You need a guy with physically strong presence. Idris has that.”

Daniel, 50, first took on the role of James Bond in 2006’s reboot of Casino Royale and returned for 2008’s Quantum of Solace, 2012’s Skyfall and then Spectre in 2015.
Bond 25, to be directed by Danny Boyle, is currently scheduled for release on November 8, 2019 in the US, with the Bond movies typically released a week earlier in the UK.
Daniel confirmed last November that he’d be returning as Bond for the fifth time but has also claimed it would be his last outing as the spy.
He told Stephen Colbert: “I just want to go out on a high note and I can’t wait.”
Daniel is the third oldest actor to play Bond, after Sean Connery, who played him at 53 in Never Say Never Again, and Sir Roger Moore, who played him at 57 in A View To A Kill.
Back in October 2015, Daniel made his famous statement about reprising the role of Bond, telling Time Out: “I’d rather… slash my wrists.
“No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”
