CLUB VS COUNTRY: ARSENAL ORDER ALEXIS SANCHEZ TO RETURN TO LONDON AFTER INJURY SCARE
Arsenal want Alexis Sanchez to return to London after the forward’s worrying injury scare on Tuesday.
Sanchez suffered a calf problem while training with Chile and will miss Friday’s clash against Colombia.
Chile want to keep hold of the forward in hope he may be available to play against Uruguay next week.
Sanchez’s injury is being assessed by medical staff with his national team but the Gunners are keen to make their own judgement.
Chile officials insist the injury is not serious but Arsenal are understandably reluctant to take any risks with their star attacker – a view they have extended to their South American counterparts.
Arsenal would prefer Sanchez not to play against Uruguay next week and return back to London for treatment.
If at all possible, Arsene Wenger would like to have Sanchez available for the clash against Manchester United on Saturday week.
Arsenal fans have come to dread November like a plague, the club always seem to experience the worst luck in that month. Sanchez is extremely important Arsenal’s Title hopes and any injury to him will be a massive blow to Arsenal’s Title hopes.
Arsene wenger will push for the skillful chilean’s return and his country will do well to Oblige as the country must have other options to fill Sanchez’s slot.
