ARSENAL ENJOY LAST GASP WINNER AGAIN 1-0 OVER BURNLEY

Burnley’s stadium Turf moor is always a tough Ground. This season, last season , the season before last..when you come there you know you are in for a fight. After seeing all their direct Rivals Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool drop points the Gunners didn’t need to be reminded of the importance all three points would be to them. Tied at 22 points in 6th position Arsenal knew a win would catapult them to 4th..Bouyed by their Last week Premiership Win over Spurs this game was very important to the gunners.

After a Pulsating game, it was none other than Contract Rebel Sanchez who scored a last minute penalty as Arsenal moved ahead of rivals Tottenham and into the top four.

Alexis Sanchez drilled it low to the keeper's right to give Arsenal all three points

Referee Lee Mason pointed to the spot after midfielder Aaron Ramsey was pulled down in the box by James Tarkowski with just seconds left on the clock.

And Sanchez coolly slotted past Nick Pope (only just) as furious home fans booed the officials off the field at the final whistle.

The Gunners bus only arrived 52 minutes before kick-off after getting delayed on their short drive over from Preston.

For 91 minutes it appeared as though a resolute Burnley defence would keep the Gunners at bay and keep their fourth clean sheet in a row.

Tarkowski made a superb last ditch tackle to thwart Sanchez as he got a sight of goal – while Monreal fizzed a low shot inches wide.

Yet Cech had to come to the visitors rescue again minutes before the break as he went full stretch to tip away Robbie Brady’s curling free-kick.

These two teams were neck and neck in the top half of the table going into this game and there was no sign that either side was going to come out on top.

Watching England boss Gareth Southgate must have been impressed by the way Ben Mee and Tarkowski were repelling everything Arsenal could throw at them.

When the visitors did get some space, Ramsey fired a rising drive over the angle – while Hector Bellerin appealed for a penalty when he went down under Brady’s tackle.

The pair were involved at the other end soon afterwards but this time Bellerin did well to block Brady’s goalbound effort.

Arsenal were lumping the ball into the box in the slim hope of finding a winner and when Sead Kolasinac headed the ball back across goal, Tarkowski made his one crucial mistake of the game by climbing over Ramsey leaving the ref with no choice but to point to the spot.

The First half saw a lot of scary moments for Arsenal as Burnley were swarming into Arsenal’s danger area like Killer bees. But Arsenal Managed to soak all the pressure without causing too many Danger periods for the home thing. Watching the game I got a feeling that the Home team though relentless as they were, were soon going to tire them selves out with all the running.

And so it proved as the 2nd half Arsenal improved tremendously and imposed themselves running the show. It was a very Meticulous day for Defenders Mustafi and Koscielny. This game demanded their utmost concentration and they did well to keep a clean sheet. Sanchez by converting that late penalty showed irrespective of his links to Mancity he is still proffesional Enough to do the job he needs to do to help Arsenal for the time being.

Its Huddersfield next at Home and That should be 3 points again for the Gunners…All things being equal o
